Barcelona transportation with a baby?

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to decide whether to bring baby's carseat for use in a taxi from Barcelona BCN airport to the port. Or does anyone know if I can hire a taxi which might have a carseat onboard?

Babies require the right size car seat and there is no way to determine if they will provide you with the appropriate car seat for your child. My suggestion is to buy the car seat that converts to a stroller- since you will have to check in the stroller anyway, you may as well check in the car seat too.

Do taxis at home come with the proper size car seats?

I agree that the above solution sounds like a great idea.

Thanks guys, this is what I will do then. Luckily we have a stroller that I can buy some adaptors for which will hold the carseat too.
