LarryL Posted July 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2011 The thought just occured to me that some ships and cruise lines offer "egg crates" for mattresses. I don't mind firm mattresses but not fond of hard slabs. To those Liberty cruisers, did you feel the pads are relevant to request or are the mattresses just fine? Thanks, Larry
Merion_Mom Posted July 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2011 I have slept very comfortably on the Liberty, sans egg crate mattress topper. The only time I want one is when I am sleeping on the sofabed.
cb at sea Posted July 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2011 The mattresses were all replaced (or updated) a couple of years ago....they're much nicer than the old, skinny mattresses of yesteryear!
LarryL Posted July 21, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Thanks for the replies. As time gets closer, I am trying to get my ducks in a row. I would hate to spend 14 days being uncomfortable. Larry
