Nope. RC changed out all of the bedding a couple of years ago.

We just got off the Freedom and I thought it was actually very comfortable. We looked and had the egg crate topping on ours. I slept all night, so it must have been good.

You cant compare the princess rocks to rcl beds.

I like both lines very much, but I've only found uncomfortable mattresses on Princess. i like Royal's very much. Some mattresses have been fine on Princess, but more were not...just my personal preference...others may like them a lot!

We enjoyed our cruises on Princess, but their matresses are undoubtedly the hardest rocks I've every slept on.

 

RCI's matresses are very comfortable.

Just off the RCL Majesty of the Seas 8 nights ago, my husband didn't complain about their bedding and mattress...........He's now complaining about OURS!:o

RCCL has definitely fixed their mattress problem. Their mattresses are great.

Got off of Explorer of the Seas on the 30th...beds were awesome!!!

 

Coffee in the MDR...awful. I drank it though, for the experience.

I find the mattresses to be just fine. Heck even the lounger out on my balcony was comfy to fall asleep on. :)

Thank goodness they have better mattresses now, our last cruise was the spring of 2009 and it was horrible even with egg crate mattress added.

Wow, that is so great to hear. The more time I spend on this board, the more I think I will give RC a try. Maybe the Princess folks are just a bunch of whiners. :D
