I just popped in to see why this thread was still going. It reminded me of when I was in the Army and we watched soaps at chow time. Some guy was on a ledge threatening to jump and we had to go on maneuvers for a week. Totally PO'd. When we got back, he was still on the ledge.

Can't really recall, it was back in the 70s, He may have had a blindfold and cig in mouth though. Just remember nothing happened in a week missing the show.

 

If it was the 70s, it was definintely wasn't a smoking ledge. Or rather, the smoking/non-smoking designation had yet to be created and everyone just put on dealt with the smoke. ;)
