rough ocean

we did Hawaii to Ensenada in Nov 2004 and the ocean was extremely rough some of the crew and people that had cruised 50 times before had never had seas like that...it was our 3rd cruise and it was ROUGH--the decks were shut down all outdoor activites canceled:(

i remember being at the buffet and sitting in a chair bending over to get my napkin or something and ended up sliding to the next table--it was pretty CRAZY there.

i am sea-sick just typing about it:eek:

I've cruised that area at least 6 or 7 times and the seas were rough the first day and a half going out from LA and the last day and a half coming back to LA.

We have cruised the RT La Hawaii also and I agree the first day or so going out and the last day or so coming back , there is I believe a natural current running through that area that the ship goes through , therefore the bit rougher seas. But not bad at all. We are doing this cruise again in a few weeks in Nov. - Dec. it is a great cruise you will have a fun time.
