Here are some just random evening and smaller crossbody bags for going round the ship. Most of these are from Marshalls and the gold one with the rhinestones and beads and the leather and chain handle is from Charming Charlies and I love that one - it is so soft.

And I ordered this watch on sale at HSN - I love that it is wide and like a bracelet. I got the silver and rose gold colored - and I will decide which one I want to keep.

 

Is it okay that I'm posting here? If there is a better thread, please let me know - I just don't have any dresses to post since I never wear them! :(

I guess that means we both have great taste! LOL

 

I just wish I could adjust the size of the pic, because when I look at them on the actual post, they don't look nearly as clear and/or large as my actual pics. I guess it is the tapatalk app on my phone that is limiting the size.

 

I wish more people would post pics of things they are going to take or wear. It helps to pass the time until sailing!

The dress came in and I should have ordered a size smaller but I think I am going to shorten the straps a few inches in the back which will pull the dress up. Still need to figure out what type of bra I can wear - probably a strapless - which means I have to go shopping this weekend along with everything else I need to do - including packing for 4 people (maybe 4 1/2 putting Roger in there too) it is just shows too much for me and my boys would throw temper tantrums and not let me leave the room (yes they are 16, 16 & 20) and the girls are a bit too big not too be lifted - any suggestions? I cannot go braless or show THAT much cleavage

That dress is very pretty! I don't have those issues with "the girls" :D so I can't really help, except I know Victoria's Secret makes a convertible bra that goes strapless, one strap, cross-back, etc.

I saw that on TV (yesterday? day before?) and almost ordered it. I decided it would not work with my chubby wrists but I really liked it.

I got this dress for my upcoming cruise. I need to adjust the shoulders, and it should be good to go.

 

 

Lately, My dog wants to be in every picture!

Sharon, there is a Charming Charlie's at National Harbor. It is a fun store with every kind of accessory imaginable and it is entirely organized by color!

 

We should go when you get back!

Thanks Yoshi - That one is definitely more structured of all of the evening bags - it is hard sided but will hold alot and can be a clutch or use the chain.

 

I really really love the Calvin Klein bag with the chain handle - It was more expensive than the others, but the gold hardware is so nice, and the quilted leather is just so soft. It will be a good "casino" bag for me here at home or good to just wander around the ship.

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a neutral matching shoe - have fun shopping for them!

Can someone tell me approximately what size an 8.5 shoe would be on some of the sites like light in the box that have I guess it is european sizes? I was thinking 39?

Also we will have to go shopping at the Harbor when I get back. We should be home the 20th but then I have to take the twins to Greensboro for a week of camp on the 28th :)

Thanks, Sharon - that's what I thought. I'm thinking about getting some ballroom shoes since I want comfy and am more comfortable in a low heel.

 

There are a few cute boutiques, stores over at the harbor. Some good restaurants as well!

Yup. for european sizes/italian/french/UK sizes (never know which one a site will use) go up a half size from your normal shoe size. ie. 39 for an 8.5

Love those shoes. The color is actually pretty close to the photo. It is like a darker champagne color, so I dont think a neutral or cream color will work. I am lucky to be able to wear just about any color. I have a natural tan color all year long, so most things work. I'll keep looking for shoes. LOL
