Hi - is actually the Holiday Inn Old Sydney - 55 George Street Sydney!

Jagoffee - so easy to walk with luggage if your ship is at OPT. took 5 minutes .

Even if the road is busy there are pedestrian crossings to get you across. Hotel is not flash as in 5 star but our room was clean and well appointed - and we even saw the bridge from the window.

Does anyone have more recent ideas for getting to the hotel from the airport for an elderly lady traveling alone? The taxi seems expensive. Are there shuttle bus options?

There are shuttles, I haven’t used them for years, but an email to HI might tell you if they have a preferred service.
