Marvellous....when starting this thread I thought it might be nerdy and was overlooked by many. This thread and the threads it spawned on HAL and Carnival (since moved to the floataway lounge), invented a new game watching the numbers reach the milestone which came right as the new year arrived around the world.

 

It also appears that some posters have found other topical boards beyond their normal line and ports selection. A nice side-effect and there was some nice socialising posts along the way.

 

The 1,000,000 CC member can't be too far away....now that is worth a prize when it happens.....hint hint..

Last night I made a post on one of the boards that we frequent, then logged off to watch New Year's Eve festivities on TV (such an exciting life we lead!). As soon as I logged off, I remembered that I had meant to check to total posts, so I immediately logged back on. The post count when I logged back on was 30,000,004. That means that my last post must have been somewhere right around the 30mil mark! I guess we'll never know.

Thought I would resurrect this thread since we reached the 30 millionth post last New Year's Eve and are nearing our 35 millionth post .

 

When I just checked, we were at 34,305,844. Makes me think that we will reaching that around the end of the month if not sooner!
