Anyone know the scoop on the craps tables on the Millenium?

Specifically how many tables? Minumum bets? Single/Double odds?

Hours? etc? any info appreciated.

one table, minimum bet $10 but sometimes they offer 6$ minimum betting during the day. At least double odds. Table can open 30 minutes after leaving port

I didn't spend any time in the casino other than to watch part of a game and take pictures. I didn't take pictures of all the banks of slots machines. Here you can see various tables in the following pictures taken a couple of weeks back, I think the craps table is in the last picture?

My DH and I have been on 3 cruises with Celebrity-Equinox, Eclipse and then the Summit, also M class ship just last Nov 2011. On all three ships, they had 1 craps table with $5 minimum bet (yeah!). And another reason to love Celebrity's casinos were they had 3, 4, 5 x's odds on the craps table EVERY day - this is a lot different from the other cruise lines that usually only offer 2 times odds on one night only. And LOVE the non smoking atmosphere! Enjoy your cruise and the holidays!

Sweet pics!!!!! This is convincing to book a short cruise next month. I can go for cheap!

Here's a LIVE thread I did Nov. 28. - Dec. 8th doing a 10-night back-to-back cruise if you need more convincing. There's a ton of pictures and loads of details regarding onboard experiences:

I played on that Nov. 28th cruise. $5 minimum, 5X odds. Dealers were much faster than I have experienced on a cruise ship before. I played a 2 way Yo for them several times and hit it twice! It's so nice to get out of the single odds nonsense and play a real game 5X. The limit may have been $1000, but I don't know of anyone who'd approach it on a ship.

The poker is a no dealer electronic table. That would be a learning curve for me.

Wait a second! Now i never have been on Celebrity, but they are owned by Royal Caribbean. This is so NOT the way they play craps on Royal Carribbean. They have single odds most nights. This sounds like a REAL craps game on Celebrity.

Thanks for this link!!!!! Looking at them now. So far so good! Very nice!

They are running a CHEAP 2 nighter next month. 99 bucks for inside cabin.

Is that a good deal for us locals?

it was $99 plus $82 of port fees and taxes :)

For $118pp there is a florida resident rate on outside cabins...again with the $82 of fees pp.

Is it a good deal....that's up to you!!!

Just off the equinox and it was at least double odds every night..might have been more but I only took double odds.

Even the 5-night cruises for around $299 are a superb deal and should not be passed up. I paid a single occupancy rate of around $1230 for 10-nights and thought that was a very good price. After the cruise was over, considering all the great entertainment I enjoyed and food I ate, I now know it was a great deal!

Have a great cruise!

  • 1 month later...

We have just got back from a 5 dayer on Millennium and were disgusted to find that the minimum for Blackjack on all tables had gone unto $10 from the $6 when we sailed on it in November. We play for fun but cannot afford to at that rate. It should be kept at $5 and if people want to place more chips they can. We need to start an anti-casino movement until they take notice of the passengers.

Yo .....

How did to go ?

R U a "Blue Chipper" ?

If you gave 'em an average bet of $50 per hand the offers will appear down the road, i.e. comped staterooms, (excl. port taxes) even cash backs, not to mention those freebie cocktails in the casino.
