jtl513 Posted January 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Is there an i-pod charging dock in the cabins on the Nieuw Amsterdam? Thank you. Only in the "spa" cabins - SQ, VQ, CA, and IA.
sail7seas Posted January 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2012 We brought our small charger when DH used to bring his i-pod. He hardly brings it anymore.
BaltimoreCruise Posted January 3, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Thanks to you both. I'll have to purchase a plug in cord for charging. Off to Target after work today!
KirkNC Posted January 3, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 3, 2012 We have always just used the regular Apple plug. Of course that is for our iphones and ipads, not ipods.
Rare WriterOnDeck Posted January 3, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2012 We have always just used the regular Apple plug. Of course that is for our iphones and ipads, not ipods. Same plug works for iPods. Also, if you happen to be taking a laptop with a USB port, you can charge an iXXX through it as well. Although the charging time for the iPad is significantly longer than directly from the iPad plug in an outlet.
Boytjie Posted January 3, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 3, 2012 As someone with an iphone, I carry a spare charger everywhere I go. :D
bepsf Posted January 3, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Same plug works for iPods. Indeed That's one reason Apple is so easy to own: Everything works with everything else. I just bring a single USB power adapter with the USB cord and I can recharge my iPod, iPhone or iPad - whether I'm aboard ship, in a hotel or on a plane. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB352LL/C?fnode=MTY1NDA4NA
Love Cruises Posted January 3, 2012 #9 Share Posted January 3, 2012 If you have any "FIVE BELOW" stores in your area, you can pick up adapters for iPod/iPads for only $5.00 . They also have great sleeves, cases, screen protectors and other accessories for these devices. Check them out!!!
