first night dinner times

I forget if the first nights dinner times are a bit later than the remainder of the cruise, can someone advise? Thanks.

First night dinner is the same time you have for the rest of the sailing. 6pm for first seating, 8:30 for second seating. Unless you have My Time Dining, of course.

When we sailed from San Juan, because our departure was so late (8:30), dinner was pushed back 30 minutes (also due to muster). Our second-seating dinner was at 9:00 that night (normally 8:30).

Everytime we've sailed, the first night's dining times have been pushed back about 15 mins....

Agreed, we just plan on dinner the first night being pushed back a bit.

First night's dinner (late seating) for us is always a few minutes later due to the welcome aboard show, but usually not more than 5-10 minutes and it's not really announced. We just head to dinner after the show and the CD usually says something like "no one will miss dinner". Invariably people will start getting up and heading to the door during the end of the show because they mistakenly think they won't get fed if they're a few minutes late. BTW, the wait staff knows, it's not a surprise to them when everyone is a little late.
