I have been saving my new pair of Carhartts, flannel shirt, string tie, white socks, and boots for my next cruise and I am not concerned about others not being able to dress as classy. :D

 

I forgot to add my Tractor Supply Cap.

I say you go for it. We are going on the Fantasy in April. My wife will be wearing a nice gown and I will be wearing a Tux. I think it looks nice.

Going on our 1st Cruise, 4 day from Tampa to Cozumel on I believe the Paradise.

Thinking about renting tuxes for me and my 2 sons.

Do they have a formal night on the 4 day cruises?

We were just on the magic and there were plenty of ladies wearing really nice dresses. I think you will be fine.

I like the formal nights and wish Carnival would enforce its rules on dining room attire. I just bought a new Zoot Suit Tux and am ready to wear it for my next cruise, Its kinda retro.

I haven't cruised on that ship but just got back from a cruise on Victory and I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of people really dressed up from young to old. The teens seemed to be having so much fun dressed to the hilt...go for it!

You should wear whatever you want! Sure, you'll probably be in the dressier 2% of diners, but who cares! Have fun.
