Room Service Tipping Guidelines

We're definitely trying out room service this time. Can you please advise what is appropriate when tipping? Do you tip more for dinner, than you would for breakfast or lunch? Are suite pax expected to tip a bit more?

Two to three dollars per order seems to be about the suggestion around here. A little more than that like a five if they have to carry much.

We usually tip $2 - $3 dollars each time we order room service for the two of us. On the topic of room service, I highly recommend ordering breakfast, especially if you have a balcony. Nothing like sipping on coffee or tea on the balcony as you wake up! :)

We tip $1-2 for coffee and danish...and up to $5 for a full meal....base your tip on how much they have to carry to you.

For an average dinner, we tipped $5. One time we ordered so much food that it was three trays worth - that time we tipped a little more. The server seemed pleased.

We usually tip based on the order size too. If it's a full meal, we usually tip $5 and work back from there depending on how much they bring.
