2 different cruise in an inside OR 1 cruise in a suite ?

2 over one for me. I would much rather go again than the extra perks. Then again I am doing 3 for about the same as one yet have never had a suite so cannot compare.

I sleep and shower in my room, I am on the cruise to be entertained, meet people, explore the ship and ports not sit on a balcony or in a suite.

just out of interest , would people prefer 2 separate cruises but travel in an inside or 1 cruise travelling in a suite ? And why ?

( personally I would go for 2 holidays every time , but interested in others thoughts )

id do 2 cruises but having said that i've never experienced a suite. I cant even imagine how folks can afford the suites unless they get a great deal.

I would do one in a suite (especially in the Haven!). We've sailed in all types of cabins, but I'm now at a point in my life where I want to be pampered. I also find that the nicer the cabin, the more time you seem to spend there, which is fine by us. If we're not touring, we really appreciate the time in the suite to just relax.

From my own experiences doing both an inside room all the way up to the owners wuite.. I would do 2 even if it was the same itenarary... Perks are nice but I personally did not use them as much as others. Either room that I was in I only slept and showered always out of the room... anyway cheaper room for me allows me to spend my money in other ways (casino, excursions tips etc)

plus you will always have the chance of the upsell fairy calling..

make the most of either one you choose....:)

tough question! It would depend on where the cruises were. And I wouldn't even need the suite. I may even choose one with balcony, not suite. I can't imagine not having a balcony now that I know what a difference it makes in your entire vacation. Having my coffee and juice every morning on the balcony while I have my quiet time/bible study in my pajamas is no joke.

I am leaning toward one cruise, balcony stateroom/suite

Quantity versus Quality Usually I go with Quantity in order to get further in the rewards program. Now with NCL giving extra points for suites and booking 9 months in advance, you can jump levels pretty quickly.

We are in our first suite (Family Suite) this upcoming cruise over Thanksgiving. Works out to $650pp for four people factoring in the $300 obc.

For me it is the suite - cruising less often. I cruise with mom and we each like our own space. We do spend more time relaxing in the suite or on the balcony. We love Breakfast in Cagney's and a light dinner in the suite. It suits us. It might sound like we hibernate Not true. We are very social. We love trivia and other games. I arranged our M&G and we hung out with new friends or had them up to our aft balcony.

I can understand others' feeling differently. When I was young and dating/married, we werevextremely active and would have been up and out at dawn for various activities. But life and priorities change. To each his own.

One week in a suite for me-- I feel like it's a more complete experience for me. I LOVE the extra space, larger balconies, awesome bathrooms. A special cabin motivates me to use it more than a less comfortable space. I spend my whole day surrounded by throngs of people-- you can never be alone in Haiti-- and I really value having some space and privacy on vacation. I used to be a party animal, but no more-- I just want to relax!!!

I can't even think of a number of IS cruises it would take to give up a suite as I don't think there is one for me. Claustrophobic? A bit yes, but mostly I wouldn't consider anything without a balcony. To me if I can't sit on a balcony to relax it just seems pointless. We have friends that are never in their room and I can understand that it really wouldn't be worth it for them but it is for us. Now, if the question was 2 balcony or suite I'm not even completely sure I would say 2 as I love the Suite Life.:D If it was more than that yes would probably go with the balcony and pray the fairy comes to dust us.;)

For us it's one cruise a year in an OS or above, due to the gyrations we have to go through to get on a cruise. We have too much to do locally in the summer. My work ties me up spring one year and fall the next where I can't take vacation. We breed dogs so we have to spend over $100 a day to have the dirty dozen taken care of. All in all it is hard for us to cruise more than once a year, but our cruises in 2013 and 2014 are 16 day and 10 day respectively. Our last cruise was 9 day. I prefer a longer cruise once a year.
