Yes, but many have reported back succesful iron smuggling using the iron runners. :rolleyes:

Yes they do...and it will mean a free non-planned excursion trip to the "Naughty Room" where you will get a claim check to pickup your banned item on day of disembarkation..My DH took this excursion because of our travel-iron a few years ago and rather enjoyed seeing the array of items on display..:D

Want to really confuse the naughty room guys. Ever hear of a ship in a bottle? Take your iron apart and re-assemble it inside a wiskey bottle. When they look at it on the Xray machine, they'll really be confused!

You can take a small hand held steamer. I have taken mine on several cruises.
