Yeah I got the email this morning :rolleyes: It'll be back tomorrow (or so they say) so it's only for one day. I guess I'll have to splurge for the paid version for the Breeze review.

Such a cute little baby!!!! I was wondering why you posted a picture of a food bowl with "Washer" on it :p

 

So where did the name "Vasher" come from, anyway?

 

I wanted something unique and this was the name from a book that me and Cass both really liked.

I'll also get the Fun Times and a mini-review on a different excursion we've done before at Port Canaveral back in 2009 (that is still offered) up sometime today. I would have gotten the Fun Times up yesterday but I unknowingly scanned in everything PDF version upside down :rolleyes: ... So please hang in there while I get that taken care of!

Loving your review and pictures, but, I can't see the pictures from Freeport on. Do you have a link to Photobucket? There is a message that you have exceeded your bandwidth.

 

Use Cass' link above. I must have just gone over, I tried to be good with what I put on PB but I guess I went over by a few pictures. They said it'd be restored tomorrow so it should only be down for the day. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Recap -

 

I first want to thank everyone on the ship for making this another fantastic cruise(Jaime, Uncle Bruce, Gumby, Bunnie etc...). All the cruise snobs can call Carnival 'budget' all they like, we have loved every single cruise we've been on. I'd also like to thank all the great people from our roll call. There are too many to name but you guys and gals really helped make the cruise more fun and enjoyable (a good roll call can go a long way towards making a cruise better). And lastly, thanks to all of you for the kind words. It's nice to know that you enjoy the work we put into it.

 

So I do have to say that the 2.0 upgrades on the Liberty spoiled us, or at least me. I can't tell you how many times I wanted tacos from the Blue Iguana for lunch :o. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but once you go 2.0, you don't go back.

 

I wish there was more itinerary options out of Baltimore but since it takes 2 days just to get down to Florida, I understand why it's limited.

 

We always enjoy the casino but it was nice to branch out and not spend 5-6 nights solely there. Also easier on the wallet as I don't seem to have luck on my side when money is involved.

 

And finally, the reason I'm so excited for tomorrow is I get to pick up Vasher!!! Who or what is Vasher you ask? This little guy

He is our soon to be Australian Shepherd, Blue Merle baby boy. I've been talking to the breeder since January and they finally had a litter April 8. So in 24 hours I'll have this cutie in my arms.

 

Cass is scanning docs now and will have them posted a little later tonight.

 

I have an Aussie/Border collie mix and she's the best dog ever! They are smart as whips (weird saying, right), sweet, gentle, expressive, just really great dogs. You are going to just love him!

 

Right at first, my computer wasn't showing the pic of your new buddy, just saw the new pic you posted. That is the cutest puppy I've ever seen! Now, I want one lol

You betcha! We know we are all going to be photo fools on that cruise!:eek::p We switched over to Webshots.

 

Great review (as usual) you two!! Always enjoy them! Can't wait to see more pics of Vasher...it's only hours away. Enjoy!:D

I know Chris had his closing comments, and I agree with everything he said - I also wanted to add in my thoughts as well -

 

First off, I to REALLY appreciate all the encouragement, kind words, and support all the CC members have given us. It really makes a difference to know that you enjoy what we put out there - and it's just another part of what makes this community so great. Yes everyone has their own opinions, but without that diversity I think we would all be pretty bored :p.

 

Carnival has given us another great cruise, and another vacation for which the memories will last a lifetime. I know at some point we may branch out to other lines, but for the value we get for the cost of the trip vs. the enjoyment we get from each vacation makes sailing with Carnival one of the best "bangs for your buck", at least in my opinion. I'm in no was affiliated with them, but I would now consider myself a Funnel Fanatic! :D

 

I look forward to many more trips, and hopefully the opportunity to continue to share our experiences with all of you out there!

 

If you have any questions/etc - please feel free to ask away. I stay subscribed to all our reviews in case any new questions are posted, I can respond within the day.

Your new baby is so cute. Do you have a name picked out yet?

 

My DH and I will be cruising with you on the Breeze for the 2 day Thanksgiving cruise. Are you apart of our Facebook roll call group?

 

When we get off the Breeze we are turning around and getting on the Liberty. Can't wait to check out the new ship and the 2.0 upgrades on the Liberty.

Yep we are naming him Vasher, which is a character in a book we both enjoyed.

 

I know we are in a few FB groups, as well as the 2-day roll call thread here on CC - there's too many to keep up with! LOL! :p

 

You'll love the 2.0 - unfortunately I don't think the Breeze is getting the Alchemy Bar (I don't think they knew how popular it turned out to be) but Guy's and Blue Iguana will help!
