Question about Hump Cabins - Voyager of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We have seen exterior photos of VOS and understand the layout of the hump cabin area. Our question is about the interior of the ship as it relates to the elevator area and the hump cabins.

Looking at ship's deck drawing below, it appears the elevators are directly outside the door of some of the hump cabins on Voyager. Is that a correct representation?

Or is there sometype of hallway wall separating the doors to the hump cabins from the elevators?

Would appreciate hearing from those who have stayed on VOS hump cabins.... any photos?

Thank you. :)

Nope...there's a foyer for the stairs and elevators. It's not shown, but it's there! NO worries about noise! The elevators open toward the CENTER....not towards the rooms....you can't see the elevator from the cabin hallway.

VERY convenient location! The photos of a "hump" cabin look just like any other...it's the convenience of location that's the draw!

There is a wall between the staterooms and the elevators. The opening of the wall is closer to the stairs than to the elevator.

Also like the view from the hump - especially if you are in the center. In addition to the elevators, etc., it is a great location!

You get out of the elevator and walk through an open doorway into a corridor - unlike celebrity who have installed automatic glass doors, this is open and the cabin opposite the entrance can get some noise - we did but our neighbours 1 cabin down didn't and neither did mum and dad 3 down from the entrance
