Create Your Own Cruise Bingo Cards

Some girlfriends and I are taking a cruise in September and we got the idea to make up our own bingo cards, with the squares consisting of things you usually or may see on a cruise. I did a pretty extensive search on the boards to see if anyone has already done this, but couldn't come up with anything (except THOUSANDS of messages about regular bingo).

 

There are some websites that will create bingo cards with the information you supply, and then you can print them out. We plan on having some sort of buy-in and you'll either need to get a picture of the item or have a second person verify it to mark it off on your card. Though we ourselves could be responsible for quite a few of the items on the list we have so far, this will have to be something observed, not something that we participate in. What I would love from y'all is your suggestions for additional list items--we're sailing on Elation and I would like things specific to that ship or to Carnival in particular (like, "seeing someone wipe out on Flowrider" would not be helpful). These are not meant to be mean spirited, just funny or unique things we all may see when out and about on our cruise.

A couple fighting

Topless woman

Severe sunburn

Two different types of plaid in one outfit

Unattended children in elevators

1990s video vixen hair (Jersey hair)

Really old guy with really young date

Super obvious breast implants

Someone eating ice cream out of the machine

Carnival runs something similar but its pictures, you bring your camera and take a picture of everything on the list. Someone in a orange shirt, whatever.

 

For a bingo card, not sure how you would prove it?

My only thought is I'm glad I'm not going on this cruise if you think you might encounter people fighting, pregnant women smoking and drinking, thongs, speedos and topless, people eating out of ice cream machine and public vomiting and urination. Wow. I know it's Carnival but wow.

To verify, either one other person will need to see the item or else we'll need to get a picture of it. This should keep us honest! I'm convinced we'll see at least three or four of these just waiting for embarkation.

 

PS I did see a drunk pregnant lady on the pier at Cozumel on a previous cruise, so I'm confident lightening can strike twice!

Carnival just calls its a photo scavenger hunt, but sounds similar.

Right, I got. Carnival runs a photo scavenger hunt. However, this is not what we're doing. The items in question must correspond to a bingo square, so instead of marking B6 like you would in regular bingo, you would mark off "jorts" or "wedding."

 

As I asked in my original post, does anyone have something specific to Carnival or the Elation to add to our list?

I can't think of anything to add to your list, but what a fun game! I've seen something similar for a Wal-Mart bingo type of game. Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time!!:D

In 26 Carnival cruises I've never seen any of the things highlighted in red. And it does seem a bit mean spirited. Why not make your list interesting things about the ship rather than to focus so much on peoples appearance or behavior.

Your "FREE" spot could be - a person who has no ailment riding on a scooter. (You will undoubtedly see the same person climbing in and out of the pool with ease.) Definitely the FREE spot though because you will not make it to your room without seeing this once you are on the ship.

In 26 Carnival cruises I've never seen any of the things highlighted in red. And it does seem a bit mean spirited. Why not make your list interesting things about the ship rather than to focus so much on peoples appearance or behavior.
