Spending Cap?

Does anyone know if NCL would allow you to put a spending limit on your cruise card? I've been a bit shocked in my final bill in the past and would love them to shut me off at a pre-set limit. :eek:

If you put down cash for your account when you register that will establish the limit and you will be notified just before you reach your limit.

Thanks! Second question. If I put enough cash down to meet the minimum required credit hold, do i still need a credit card hold?

Nope, if you use cash, that's all you need.

If you only put down cash, then there is not credit card, and therefore no credit card hold.

They will send you a note that your funds are low and to add more money. If you are owed a refund if you put down cash they will issue you a check on the last morning which you can cash on board at least this has been my experience when I got a refund of $200.00
