I have not seen any reviews of the new cruise centre. Has anyone arrived or departed here? Is there transportation from the centre to the Marina Bay Sands hotel? Their website doen't give information on this. Would like some feedback on this new terminal. Thanks, Pat

We were there in April. Not sure if it was the new cruise center you are asking about. They used large buses to shuttle passengers from dock side to the port building. Surprisingly there were no real lines or waits for the buses. Customs was kind of voluntary. There is a sign that says stop here if you have something to declare. If not, you just leave. From the port building a taxi to Marina Bay Sands was about $10 (local dollars).

Sounds like the old terminal..Marina terminal opened late June from memory.

We left from the new cruise centre in June on the Voyager. There was still a lot of earthworks going on in the area aound it, but the centre itself was virtually finished and departure formalities were smooth, organised and quite quick.

We arrived by taxi from Orchard Rd at about 11am.

I did hear from another cruiser that there were shuttle buses operating between Marina Bay Sands area and the cruise centre.

Thanks for the information. Our ship is overnighting at the port. Does anyone know if there are ATM's in the terminal?

Pat

I emailed management about this and was advised there would be a money exchange facility ( a bank from memory) on the departure level of the terminal. There are sure to be ATM's there as well.

Hi,

there is a webpage of the cruise center - on the map there is a sign for ATM machines

http://www.singaporecruise.com.sg/index.php/terminals/sccharbourfront/terminal-map/

That's a floor plan for the Cruise centre not the new Marina Bay terminal.

This is the correct one. ATM's shown on Level 2
