QTPieTrader Posted September 10, 2012 #29 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Do the slots on the Triumph still use quarters, or does it go onto your Sign and Sail card. In other words, should we bring a roll of quarters? QTPie
cruising_kenboy Posted September 11, 2012 #30 Share Posted September 11, 2012 The slots all use your card. They do have the machines where you put the quarters in and try to get them to drop other quarters and prizes though.

cruising_kenboy Posted September 11, 2012 #33 Share Posted September 11, 2012 I was on the week before the OP. Everything was great. MDR food and service were good, really enjoyed breakfast and lunch there. Room steward was decent. Asian guitar player in the main atrium was great. So was the full band by the casino. Just caught a little of the shows, they were ok to me, others seemed to really like them. The martini sampler at the wine bar was good, and the bartender Zoran was super nice there. We had a little rain in Cozumel, and the first couple nights were a little rough as we passed Isaac, but nothing to get too sick about. The poker players were mostly real friendly after the first few hours. The back pool didn't have many kids, except the day when the main pool was closed for bad weather. The waterslides were fun. QTPie  yup as others have said they all take cards... and for the first time, i got that lanyard in the casino - it's handy to clip to your belt loop (instead of around the neck), so you don't lose your card!

o-state girl Posted September 12, 2012 #38 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Favorite spot for quiet if you had one? Go to the front of the ship on the Lido deck. They keep a few deck chairs there, and it is very quiet (you can't even hear the noise from the pool area).
o-state girl Posted September 12, 2012 #39 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Thought of one more... did you by chance do the massage in Progresso? If so what were your thought to quality? I was on the same sailing and did a massage in Progresso (my 4th time to do so). In the past, I've always walked down the beach until I found a good price ($15-20 for an hour.) This time there was a small "storefront" (if you can call it that) about halfway down the block to the beach (left side of the street after making a left turn out of the bus drop off area). Their rate was $15/hour (no negotiations necessary). The quality was good (if you like a hard, deep tissue massage then skip it). Keep in mind that few of the massage places in Progresso are what we would consider super-clean or private, but I still get a massage every time I am in port. whendoweleave? Posted September 12, 2012 #40 Share Posted September 12, 2012 for another review of yours! :D They're always excellent!! Triumph was my first 7-day cruise and first on a "bigger" ship, so she holds a very special place in my heart and memories! :) Looking forward to your review! AKB10 Posted September 19, 2012 #43 Share Posted September 19, 2012 I have a question - How was the muster drill done? Did you actually go to the life boat area or meet in a lounge? i have had it done both ways. Just wondering how it was done on the Triumph. About 4 more weeks and I will find out for myself. :D

Did you actually go to the life boat area or meet in a lounge? i have had it done both ways. Just wondering how it was done on the Triumph. About 4 more weeks and I will find out for myself. :D they called for muster somewhere around 3.45... we had to go to the muster stations (not lounges or any such), and room stewards were checking... good thing! i'll tell you why later, but suffice it to say we wouldn't have made it otherwise... i believe we were back in the room by 4.15 or so... same old type of muster drill though... which is both comforting (knowing where you lifeboat is and such) and uncomfortable (standing out in the heat, etc.). we didn't sail away until after it was done, but i think we were running a little late that day. :)
stewpapa Posted September 21, 2012 #46 Share Posted September 21, 2012 Jerry is Canadian. Zoran is the best. Taste Bar was in a really crowded location. Muster Drill was too long. Triumph was great 9/6 sailing. Going back in Feb. looking forward to your review!

I had read previously that there was a black square on the screen?
