cdreher Posted September 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Are there soap and shampoo dipensers in the baths on the Oasis?
cb at sea Posted September 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2012 There is 1 dispenser...no one is sure what it contains. You are best advised to bring what works for you. The stuff in the container could be a shampoo, or body wash, or shower cleaner....no one is really certain.
Merion_Mom Posted September 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Are there soap and shampoo dipensers in the baths on the Oasis? It is "conditioning shampoo". It comes out of this jug and goes into your dispenser:

CarpeCerevisi Posted September 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Yup, that's the stuff that is in every RC ship I have been on. It works just fine on my flowing locks.

Langley Cruisers Posted September 27, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2012 OP asked specifically about Oasis, which in my experience, was different than any other ship I've been on (for obvious reasons, and for this one as well). We were given toiletries, and I have since heard that all cabins on Oasis are given small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Having said that, yes there is the dispenser in the shower as well, and I still always bring my own toiletries.

I'd love it it I ddin't have to bring lotion and shampoo, even though I'd probably still bring my own conditioner.

I'd still bring my favorite brand just in a smaller size; travel sizes are available at any drug or chain store.

I'd love it it I ddin't have to bring lotion and shampoo, even though I'd probably still bring my own conditioner. We also only do carry-ons. Love arriving at the airport and being able to go straight to security. I bring my own shampoo and conditioner because they can't be bought in a drugstore, but we go to the drugstore and buy lotion, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, sunscreen, etc., when we arrive the day before the cruise, and we just throw them away when the cruise is over. Love having full-size toiletries, and I used to hate gathering all those travel-size products.
CARIBBEANBLUESKY Posted September 27, 2012 #13 Share Posted September 27, 2012 It is "conditioning shampoo". It comes out of this jug and goes into your dispenser: Is that a bucket beside it? I wonder if they also use it to clean the bathroom. :D

My wife and I are "down" to 2 large suitcases and i carry-on. You provide us with a hope that we can travel lighter
