How to post pictures ??

1. Get a hosting site like Shutterfly or Photobucket

2. Upload your pictures there.

3. When your pix are there, bring one up on the site by itself. You can resize it, work with it if you want. Put your mouse pointer over it, right click to copy it.

4. Come to CC, and respond to a post, in the response, place your mouse pointer where you want the pic to appear, right click again, this time, paste it.

Thanks John. Will the same process work for changing my avatar?

I get very frustrated with Tapatalk. It's great that the pictures can go from my iPad to Cruise Critic without uploading to a host site first but I never know what size they will be. Sometimes they appear normal size but mostly they turn out more like thumbnails (as those above). Anybody know why this is and/or what I am doing wrong?

I would love to know the answer to this as well...

I see the Flickr process has changed. You know longer use the mountain icon to post pics. Now I can post the link directly on the page but it includes information that I don't need so I have to go to each link and delete the unneeded wording. Is there a quicker process? When I do cruise reviews I post a lot of pictures.

Thanks.

The "information I don't need" is just identifying info for the pic' date=' and allows people to link to your flickr album. It's really not obtrusive on the post. But if you don't want it, you do have to delete the wording. Here are some pics with and without the extra info.

Yes' date=' Scraonana, that looks like it could say Conquest. Wonder what port it is?[/quote']

Well, you learn something everyday! If you click on the picture it will take you to the host site (who knew?)and ABCGreys was nice enough to label it. It is a picture of the Valor and Conquest at Cozumel.

Still trying to figure out this Tapatalk thing. When I post a picture using tapatalk the picture is normal size if I view it on Tapatalk but tiny if I view it on the website. Ugh!!!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok, now I am even more confused. If I load the picture from my iPhone it comes out a normal size. If I load it from my iPad it is tiny.:confused::confused:

I finally figured it out! When you write a post on Tapatalk and add a picture, look at the bottom half of the "Reply Topic" screen. Where it says "Photo Sharing" you should see "Tapatalk" to get a regular size picture. If you see "Attachment", tap the grey arrow on the right and under "Hosted By" choose Tapatalk and, voila, your pictures will post at a normal size!
