On Adventure of the Seas are meals served in Windjamer for breakfast and lunch only. Do you have to have your evening meal in the main dining room and can anyone post a copy menu of what is likely to be on the menu in the main dining room

Windjammer has dinner every night - even some of the same things that are being served in the MDR (just not as fancied up).

The menus in the MDRs change every night, just like the food in the buffet - which is also open for dinner (and never crowded). There are some items that are available every night in the MDR, and most items change every night.

You can eat breakfast and lunch in the dining room, too....very casual for those meals...shorts are fine then.

 

Yes....the menu changes nightly in the dining room, with several "standard" items everynight.

 

The buffet will have many of the same items daily, but some items will change.

 

You can eat wherever you like for any meal.

On every cruise I've been on the buffet is open at night as well as breakfast and lunch. Some people I know only eat in the buffet and never go to the MDR. Note that waiter tips are still expected, so please tip your recommended tips even if you only eat in the buffet. Beside, the buffet has waiters too, bringing you drinks and clearing your table. On your ship you also have Cafe Promenade on deck 5 that is open almost all the time.

On Royal Caribbean, the main dining room is not open for lunch on days when the ship is in port; lunch is only served there on sea days.

You don't have to dine in the MDR, just please, if you have assigned time/table let them know you won't be eating there, so they won't sit and wait for you to show up.

 

You can dine in the buffet, pay for other restaurants, order room service...

Celebrity would be the line that's the evening buffet exception - they don't have one unless this has changed recently.
