Shows and MTD

Recommended Posts

You should be able to schedule your dining times in MTD in such a way that you won't miss any shows. You can also inform your wait staff that you are planning to go to the show and they will do their best to expedite your service. We never missed a show that we wanted to see when we were on My Time Dining. MTD is generally available from 5:30 pm until 9:00 or 9:30, and shows are usually scheduled around the traditional dining times, so you can pick a time that allows you to see all or any of the shows you wish.:).

sorry we are going on Oasis of the seas. That might be helpful!

Cruising the Oasis class ships is probably one of the easiest to do with MTD.

With MTD, you can make a reservation or show up and wait a few minutes to be seated. We've never had to wait more than about 10-15 minutes to be seated when we did not make a MTD reservation.

Show times are listed online prior to cruise and reservations can be made that way or once onboard, through the interactive television program, reservations can be made. We prefer making the reservations before cruising. Have only waited to make once on board when times wanted were no longer available online. Booked last Allure cruise about 3 weeks before going, so most every time we wanted was taken. Not a problem once on board. Got what we needed.

Show times are reserved by the cruisers allowing them to dictate what times to see shows. If a show reservation isn't made, there is always the option of going to stand in the "no reservation" line. At about 15 -20 minutes prior to show time, these crusers are allowed into the show venue. Of course, premium seats and seats together might not be available.

The flexibilty on the Oasis class ships is one of the reasons we like it so much! Have a great cruise.
