Celebration/Dream drinks menu

Recommended Posts

you can get a glass of iced water free from any bar at any time (or order from the bar stewards)

there are free 24/7 water coolers and ice machines in the buffet resturant.... but that is filtered tap water (not bottled)

bottles of water are much cheaper ashore and you can keep them in the fridge in your cabin

Not sure if they still do this, but on one cruise the wine waiters asked us if we would like to buy bottles of water at dinner. The other people on our tables said yes, but, having been forewarned on here, I asked for a jug of water and was brought one. Not sure if it was extra revenue for the waiters or Thomson, but after that they brought jugs of water. Just a warning for newbies :)

I think perhaps now they don't bring round a jug of iced water but bottled water at meal times in the mdr so you can have 'their' bottled water free. If you want a premium bottled water (if there is such a thing! :D:eek: ) then I guess you could buy that.

But you are right that asking for bottled meant you paid for it in the past. Just for your info....... I think that's the current situation on P&O but you are alert to that one! ;) (They bring round jugs of iced water as Thomson used to so no need to pay unless you specially want bottled.)

Tap water is fine with me as long as it is cold. We have one of those sorts of water cooler at work.

Are there fridges in all cabins on Celebration? The brochure mentions minibar on deluxe and above but we are in straightforward outside.

One small point. There will be a bottle of water in your cabin when you arrive. If you use that you have to sign a little slip and you will be charged for it and it will be replaced.

Cheeky! Just at the point where you are bound to want to grab a drink of water.

Hello all

It's probably me...but having read most (not all) of this thread.....can someone give me a definitive answer -

If I order a Bacardi and Coke or a Vodka and Sprite......do I have to pay the supplement for the soft drink? Not bothered about having a can with the spirit, but would want the splash from a "gun" rather than potentially flat from a large bottle or previously used can.

Thanks for your help.

What is diff between drinks package anc all incl

Sorry if its obv I am new to cruisig:

Drinks packages available on some other lines can mean a set amount of bottles of wine or beer all inclusive should mean all drinks usually with a few exceptions e.g champagne, malt whisky or vintage brandies. Does anyone have an up to date copy of a bar menu as the one here seems to be from 2012 which was the last time we had it on Thomsons and I have been told there are a few more restrictions now however as with Mackem 1999 I'll be happy with (proper) Bacardi and (proper) coke
