Unused obc

Thanks to the 12.12.12 sale we will pro ally have unused obc. Do they refund this to your credit card or is it something I have to ask for at guest services.

Depends on the type of OBC. You can always get it at the Casino, with a 3% fee

Pretty much any OBC given as booking perks will not be refundable. If I happen to be at the end of a cruise and still have unspent OBC I'll go to the casino and pay the 3% service charge and just get it out as cash. :)

If the 12.12.12 credit is all the OBC you have and it is unused they will not refund it to you. Like previously posted you can take it out at the casino and pay the 3% service charge

We've gotten our TA unused OBC in cash at Guest relations. It wouldn't hurt to ask before you pay 3%.

That's because if the OBC comes from an outside source, like a TA , it is refundable. If it comes from RCI it is not refundable unless you take it out of the casino at which time you have to pay the 3%.

The fine print on the 12/12/12 says "Onboard credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and will expire if not used by 10:00 PM on the last evening of the cruise."

You could have your tips charged to your seapass account which would use up the credit pretty easily.
