2012 Cunard Christmas Card?

Has anyone received a Christmas e-card from Cunard this year?

 

Once again we seem to be on the wrong side of Cunard's "naughty or nice" list as we never have received a Christmas e-card from Cunard despite recently completing our fifth voyage with Cunard. We did receive this year's e-card from Princess a week ago even though we have only sailed once with Princess and that was four years ago.

 

If Cunard has sent an e-card for 2012, would someone be willing to share the link to the Cunard e-card again this year?

Not an email card, but we were sent a real one by our Cunard Personal Cruise Specialist!

Got an e-mail card this morning, December 20th,. It has a snow globe with a picture of the bows of the 3 Queens, 4 short lines of "best wishes" and a small photo of Peter Shanks at the bottom.

Wow, I guess I just wasn't patient enough!

 

Just a few minutes ago I received an e-mail from "Cunard Line" wishing me "Very Happy Holidays" and containing this year's e-card. I guess I'm finally on Cunard's "nice" list after all!

Sounds like the same e-mail from Cunard I received yesterday with the subject " 'tis the season to save up to 60%! ". I was hoping that was not going to serve as a substitute for this year's greeting card.

 

Hopefully your e-card will arrive shortly, Salacia. I hesitate to post the link to my e-card here because it is personalized with "Dear John," in the message.

If you click on Peter Shanks' mug shot it takes you right to Cunard Line's web-site. Since no expense was spared, I deleted my e-card right away. ;)

I opened mine just a few minutes ago. It may not be very personal, but it doesn't take much to get me thinking wistfully about our last voyage and about our voyages to come.

I've never had a Christmas e-card from Cunard even though I'm platinum. Interesting to note that all the people who say they've received one above are from the US and Canada.

I am Platinum and a share holder and I couldn't care less. An e card is computer generated nothing personal there! I would much prefer EXCLUSIVE offers as opposed to the same offers as every TA is showing!

I get Christmas e cards from Cunard and from Princess too. I also get Birthday cards from Princess but I've never sailed with them.

My card arrived in my in-box this evening. I clicked on the globe thinking it might activate an animmation - but no...instead that also opened the Cunard web-site.

Cunard has all previous passengers on a data base? So to send everyone on that list an e card, all at the same time is just a click of a mouse.

Yes, in previous years the Cunard e-card has had at least some animation to it and music or other audio as well.

Ah, remember the 'good old days' when the card was delivered to our homes in person by a Cunard bellhop in Phillip Morris garb? :rolleyes:

:)You got me there Bobby. No bellhop ever deliverd a card to my door, but tonight two children from up the street brought us 2 cookies and 2 chocolate covered pretzels that they made. Never had a chocolate pretzel before - it was quite nice. Joy sometimes comes when least expected.

 

Here's to a New Year; may it have suprising moments of joy and happiness!
