If smoking is permitted, that does not mean that someone will be smoking on every deck or even one near enough to you to be a problem. Until a year ago, Princess allowed smoking on the balcony, but we were never bothered by neighbors.

Is it true that you can smoke on all outside balcony cabins on The Oasis of The Sea? That could ruin you trip if you aren't a smoker!

Hi Destin -- hope you don't mind that I took the Liberty of perusing your other posts, to get an idea of your cruise history. Looks like you cruised on Celebrity Silhouette, so you may be in for a shock when you sail RC. As opposed to X's smoking policy, which restricts all interior and balcony smoking, RC allows smoking on all exterior balconies, and in several indoor areas -- including bars and the casino. I've not sailed on Oasis or Allure, but I understand that smoking is banned on the interior (Central Park/Boardwalk) balconies -- for obvious fire-hazard reasons. Maybe one of those locations would work better for you, if you are booking Oasis, and seeking to avoid smoke?
