Ocean Princess Mini Suites

Hi everyone, we have just booked 8020 for a B2B for 26 nights. So far I haven't been able to find any specific complaints of noise from above but would be interested to hear from anyone who has had a mini suite on the Ocean Princess in relation to noise only.

We were in a mini on the Ocean that was further forward, just behind the bridge and had no noise problem.

 

We were also in one near the back, below horizon court. We heard them moving the carts as the put out breakfast each morning. While not horrible, could have done without it.

We were in 8041 a few years ago when she was still the Tahitian Princess, and had no noise issues whatsoever. Lovely ship, and outstanding minisuites!

We were in 8060 and although we did hear carts being wheeled around in the early morning, we booked a second time in the same area. 8020 will not have the "buffet" problem. You do hear some noise from above, but IMO the significant larger cabin and balcony size on deck 8 are worth any minor issues with noise.

The bottom line for us is that although we would occasionally hear some noise from above it was not a problem for us. Enjoy all the extra room.

Thank you everyone. We have decided if there is a full suite available we will go with that otherwise, thank you Flamomo, 8041 is available (at this stage), we will go with it.

We've been in 8024 on the Pacific (same deck plan as the Ocean). It's a balcony, not a mini-suite, but only 2 cabins down from 8020. No noise issues whatsoever...

8008 on Pacific, there was some noise in the very early morning (5-6am) with chairs being moved around on the pool deck in the area near the bar as they cleaned the deck. Not horrible, but it did wake us up.
