North Africa - From Morocco to Egypt The Baltics Antarctica The Panama Canal. I'm sure I'll get to go on cruises to all of those locations sooner or later. ILoveScotland Posted January 29, 2013 #59 Share Posted January 29, 2013 In 5 weeks I'll check one off my bucket list when I go on a Norway Coastal Voyage on the Hurtigruten Polarlys - Bergen to Kirkenes and return, hopefully Northern Lights above the Arctic Circle and lots of small ports. Then... South America around the Horn Transatlantic on the Northern route that includes the Shetland Islands, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and Newfoundland Baltic Sea Another Southern Route Transatlantic (have done one) Mississippi River Cruise from St. Louis to New Orleans Transpacific to Hawaii South Pacific Cruise Transit the Suez Canal I have no idea if/when I'll do any of them. For now I'm content to be going up the coast of Norway after wanting to do so in a small ship for almost 20 years.
ILoveScotland Posted January 29, 2013 #60 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Didn't put it on my bucket list, but I've always wondered what it would be like to cruise in a large suite having been in one suite as a last minute and reasonable upsell. Now I'll know, because 9 friends and I have booked the Presidential Suite on the Freedom of the Seas for next December - all 1250 or so sq. ft with 850 sq. ft. balcony, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, living area and lots of perks. We are going to have a great time enjoying the luxury of it all. Then it will be back to Inside or OV cabins with maybe a balcony here and there. editor@cruisecritic Posted July 29, 2013 #64 Share Posted July 29, 2013 I love thinking about this kind of question and yet I don't really have to think about it :) -- 1. Around Africa (would take too much time for me to legimately be away from work, but maybe someday). 2. The Mekong River And then there are itineraries that are bucket lists for me even though I've already done 'em -- never, ever get tired of the ports and would go again in a heartbeat: 1. Eastern Caribbean (especially the BVIs and St. Barths) 2. Western Mediterranean 3. Danube River Carolyn Carolyn Spencer Brown Editor in Chief Cruise Critic

janeyzee Posted July 29, 2013 #70 Share Posted July 29, 2013 I'm interested to see what is on everyone's cruise bucket or wish list? For me it's Alaska and Europe (something that includes Rome). Wishing REALLY big is Antarctica. Greek Isles and the Panama Canal, all the way through, not an in-and-out. Oh and St. Lucia too.

NoobCruise Posted July 30, 2013 #73 Share Posted July 30, 2013 We've sailed the Mexican Riviera and Alaska (Glacier Bay). I also want to sail Antarctica! I want to sail Alaska again and see Tracy Arm Fjord, Hubbard Glacier, and College Fjord, so that may take a few trips lol I want to sail Hawaii on NCL Pride of America (I don't want several sea days sailing from the west coast). I want to sail the Norwegan Fjords. And the British Isles. The caribbean east, west, and southern. I could go on and on. I've got a lot of sailing to do, if I can get DH to cooperate lol
