On the Panama Canal cruise, it's held in a corner of the Explorer's lounge on deck 6. It's hard to see from the corridor as the appetizers are against a wall around the corner. You'll receive a card in your cabin with where it is and the appetizer and drink of the day.

Is this a recent change and what exactly is the perk? We are Platinum, but haven't cruised with Princess since we attained this tier. Our 15 day Panama cruise will be our first for 4 years.

It has been around for two or three years and is for suite/elite/platinum passengers.

There should be a card with the information in your cabin. If there is not, see the Captain's Circle rep.

A sample card is shown below:

I much prefer the back of the Explorers lounge location on the Island and Coral...very quiet and intimate and close to the dining rooms.

On the Ruby, it was way up on deck 19 at Skywalkers....not worth the walk all the way to the back and then the elevator up and down then back down to the DRs so we never went.
