JYD Hawkeye Posted January 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Anyone ever take a SodaStream carbonator on board Mariner? I was looking at them and it seems to be a good way to have unlimited mixers and soda onboard. Daughter says some of the flavors not that good. What is your' opinion? Thought I might buy soda syrup from Sam's Club in bulk or online.

leaveitallbehind Posted January 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2013 I will be the first to admit that I know very little about the system but agree that it seems like a lot of hassle for sodas on board. ALso not sure how you wouuld get the syrup on board - they may not allow that. Not to mention the bulk of the machine. Why not consider the soda package? If Mariner has the Frestyle coke machines on board (and I'm not sure if / when they do - maybe someone else can update) that would give you the variety with less hassle and is probably cost effective. Haribofan Posted January 27, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Can't see it would be allowed onboard as it works with a compressed gas cylinder and anyway why bother when tea, coffee, juices, iced tea, water etc are all free in the windjammer ! Just get a soda package !
trev71 Posted January 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Just get a soda package seems like way too much work. Enjoy your cruise, it would be a pain to go back to your room for a drink each time too, or go to the windjammer or anything ETC
Rare Lionesss Posted January 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2013 For convience sake just get the soda package. Save time. More room in your suitcase. Later
