MrPete Posted February 4, 2013 Author #7 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Mr Pete! Since when have you become interested in NCL Ships?:D Actually, more of a fan of NY Harbor. ;) I'm watching an NCL ship pull out of Miami right now.

MrPete Posted February 5, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Okey Dokey! Im more of a fan of Port of Miami and Port Everglades and Tampa, but I might try a cruise from there some day, at least it is closer to home.:) Check out my Destiny thread on the CCL boards. There were a slew of ships sailing out of there today.

Barb Nahoumi Posted February 6, 2013 #16 Share Posted February 6, 2013 We enjoyed the Jewel. Her layout is similar to the Pearl, minus the bowling alley. We'll be doing the repo on the Dawn to bring her home to Boston. Can't wait.

Barb Nahoumi Posted February 8, 2013 #19 Share Posted February 8, 2013 Here's a time lapse video I took last October on the Jewel as we left NY. Wow, the ship appears to be traveling like a speed boat, and the folks are scurrying like ants. I just watched the first video for a while-------stormy conditions in New York. Barb Nahoumi Posted February 10, 2013 #21 Share Posted February 10, 2013 When I clicked on the New York Harbor video, I saw a cruise ship at the pier. I don't think that it is NCL, because don't see any visable hull art. Can anyone tell which ship it is?

The current shot does not look like the "normal angle"....could the recent snow storm have had them use a different camera?- does not even look like the Manhattan pier...:o or maybe I am wrong...:o

She is cruising out of the Bayonne terminal today. That terminal is very close to the location of the Harbor Cam. Don't know what it is..sorry but also...The current shot does not look like the "normal angle"....could the recent snow storm have had them use a different camera?- does not even look like the Manhattan pier...:o or maybe I am wrong...:o The cam operator moves the cam to show many different things. If there is a ship at Bayonne it will sail out first, so they usually follow it out past the bridge, and then return the camera to show the other ships following it. ;)
