I am a lowly gold. But I am patieantly and diligently working my way up.

I just hope RCI is done with their C&A program changes for a while so there won't be any unexpected regress. Carnival just revamped their program last year and I regressed from gold to red.

Gold: Feel inferior to everyone else's status

Platinum: Still inferior, just glad not to be gold anymore

Emerald: red headed step children

Diamond: think they are important and unique, but really aren't

Diamond plus: are kinda special and not afraid to tell you

Pinnacle: Holy crap, you cruise a lot!

I'm bored.. LOL ;)

This is AWESOME!!!!

I'm just a lowly Platinum but will be Emerald May 24, 2013. I have only been cruising since December 5, 2009, didn't cruise in 2011 :( and have to fly typically 7-8hrs to get to FL so I think I'm doing pretty good :)

That said - gold, platinum, emerald... All kind of the same THEN you get to the free drinks ;)

That reflects the number of posts made on CC.

When you post over 5,000 messages here, you become "5000+ Club", nothing to do with C & A.

Yes, I know that. It was just a little joke (you might notice that I've been around a while, too, but 2,000 posts doesn't get you much status here. Anyway, it was, again, a tongue-in-cheek response to someone saying that "we're all the same here." In that case "here" is Cruise Critic, but much like RC with the different statuses based on how much cruising you've done, Cruise Critic has different statuses based on how much posting you've done.

Anyway, obviously it doesn't have to do with C&A. And my attempt at humor fell flat, so I will take my 2,000+ Club self and slink away. :D
