Jr. Suite questions

I'm new to RCI, looking to take the 10 day eastern caribbean out of Baltimore in Jan 2014. Anyway looking into the Jr. Suite, what is the advantage of booking the suite other than the obvious increase in SF?

TIA

Double points, priority boarding, and a tub. That's about it!

Happy cruising.

On the Grandeur, the Grand Suites are actually a VERY nice, big size.

The Junior Suites are not so large. More like a really big balcony cabin. And without a walk-in closet, all you have are a slightly larger balcony and a bathroom with a tub. (which I really like, since otherwise you have the "overly friendly" shower curtain.

But the double C&A points are nice. 10 nights will get you 20 points.

On Vision class, I like the JS because they usually are not much more expensive than the balcony cabins, but are a lot better.

Have NEVER SAILED this line and trying to determine which cabin category. Thanks, ANY INFO would help

The perks mentioned in the first quote above would be for full suites, which is a Grand Suite or better. Not for a Junior Suite.

Most of the Vision class ships have been updated to include the Concierge Lounge. The only Vision class ship without a Concierge Lounge is Vision of the Seas. This ship is scheduled to be updated this fall.

Your service fee (SF?) is not higher in a junior suite, only Grand and above.

Accessible Junior Suite are wider. We got one and liked it. Of course once you try RCI you may not go back :D. Some Staterooms cost only $100 less for a JS, so you will have to research a lot. JS's have 245 sq. ft and 62 sq ft balcony while Superior Oceanview Staterooms have 191 sq ft and 39 sq ft balcony. It is over 50 sq ft more room.
