What do YOU ask your pre cruise concierge for?

Thanks! Your list is very helpful, enjoy your cruise!

Thanks! We plan to! Again, I realize that not everything, or even any request is a guarantee. We are not the type of people who will let the little things like that ruin our vacation! If they miss something, or miss everything, we will fix it in board! :). I think they key is to not set your expectations too high, so you cannot be disappointed. :)

Well, today was the day we were allowed to book shows for our upcoming Epic cruise via the pre-concierge, so I took the advice from everyone here and added in some special requests! I hope they get it right, but will be fine if not, I can always ask the butler when we get on the ship. Here's what we asked for:

1. Loungers on balcony instead of chairs

2. Refrigerator emptied

3. Pillow preference ( she actually brought it up, so we chose)

4. Coffee and tea preference (again, she asked, so we gave her our preferences)

5. Extra hangers in closet

6. Menus from all restaurants in room

7. Splenda as the sweetener for coffee

8. Chocolate covered strawberries at embarkation for sail away

9. Told her the kind of snacks we prefer, and to skip the canapé types as we don't like those

10. Made both the show and dinner reservations, and asked her to note our anniversary on one of the reservations.

11. Towel preferences- she asked if we needed extra.

I think that's it! :). The pre-concierge woman was very nice and professional. It was a very pleasant experience! Got to love the suite life! :)

Were there choices given for coffee and tea condiments or did you just ask? I'd love to have raw sugar packets if it's available.

For those who have stayed in a suite before, what sort of snacks are available? I am not a big fan of canapes either.

Those are nice options! I think I asked for cheese and crackers, veggies, chips and salsa, chocolates, and the chocolate covered strawberries. Not all in one day, mind you! You would have to roll us off the ship by the end of a week! :)

Thanks for the ideas - I did some of the same requests. When you say "show reservations" what are you referring to?

We're sailing on the Epic, so some of the shows you can make reservations for before you board, like the Blue Man Group, Legends in Concert and the Cirque show.

Ok, I'm gonna ask...what do these mean: GV, OS, DOS..we are booked into a Penthouse Suite deck 10 aft on the Jewel..what letters would that be and what if anything would we be entitled to? I read NCL's webpage and they say we will have a butler, concierge, etc...but I was just curious as we have never sailed in a suite on NCL before. Thanks for any information you can provide.
