Dooney and Bourke Nylon Pouchette

I am thinking about these as gifts. Does anyone have one? Does it hold up well? What age group would this work for? I am also considering the nylon crossbody pouchette.

Hi,:) Dooney & Bourke has a very loyal "following".......what age group?

Depends on the person in my opinion. I have one D&B crossbody bag

but that is only because I got it on sale. There stuff is way more

than I normally spend on handbags (but that is just me).

You are nice though.....very nice gift:) Normally their bags hold up

well....and being nylon? It should last for a long time.

I was a little worried about the age range. These will be for my SILs, who range from mid 40s to early 50s. I am 30, and I really like the bags. I just wanted a reality check to see if some ladies agrees that these are universally appealing to all ages.

They are not for me either but like Kipling or something like Radley in the UK and any of the more "higher end" or well known brands (non luxury designer) department store brand they have a cult following. I think a lot of the bags from DB, athough they are not particularly cheap look like LV knock offs.

I have one. The good news it holds a decent amount of stuff--a lot more than any of my Dooney wristlets. The strap drop is a major negative. I typically use mine when traveling to keep all my valuables in one easy spot.
