Help! Carnival or Holland?

We are wanting to take a cruise around the Baltics. The Holland cruise Eurodam sounds great (leaves May 31st) but the Carnival legend is significantly cheaper (leaves June 21st). I've cruised Royal C. and Carnival (many times on Carnival) all in the Caribbean. So between the Eurodam and legend which is better? Thanks!!

Better?????? The two lines are totally different. Holland being more upscale-feeling and subdued. Food a ton better on HAL. But that's a very subjective view. The Eurodam is a big ship and we enjoyed it.

 

With all the problems the Carnival ships have had you should get ANY of their cruises for discounted rates. And if price is most impt, then go for it.

 

Time wise I'd pick the May date before the kids and families and MANY tourists head to Europe in June.

 

You really are looking at two cruise lines that market to different groups.... Entertainment wise, atmosphere on the ships, service etc.

We agree with eandj plus you get Stockholm and the archipelago. We have booked the Legend in September but in your case we would choose HAL.
