Where is QM2?

The QM2 is sailing in Northern Europe,and then resume the TransAtlantic run

Having left Zeebrugge earlier, QM2 is currently (2255 GMT Wed 7th Aug '13) in the English Channel, directly south of Hastings, making 18 knots, due at Southampton in the morning.

Early this morning the webcam was showing Qm2 docked at Qe2 Terminal but it is now docked at City cruise terminal.:confused:

Hi transatlantic fan,

I think the earlier picture was a fault (one of many with the bridgecams in my experience).

QM2 went straight to the City Terminal this morning, according to AIS. Hope this helps.

According to the Southampton Cruise Ship Schedule she was due at the QE2 terminal. I hope they got everyone's cars moved okay.

I was on this trip. It was on our documents weeks ago that QM2 would arrive at City Terminal. Of course are cars were there.

Very true. I know of at least one case where people were collecting passengers and couldn't be sure which terminal to go to, Cunard saying one, ABP saying another. I suggested they drive to the Mayflower Park (from where you can see all the terminals) and look for a big orange-red/black funnel! :D .

They did get to the right terminal in the end.

Yes, I just watched the departure. What an insult to follow a Carnival ship.

I phoned two friends. One was too busy to talk because he was watching the webcam.:D His wife tells me checking the NY harbor cam has become an addiction. The other was going to check it out because we are all sailing on her soon and it adds to the excitement.:D:D:D

A wounded QM2 arrived in Brooklyn,NY from the New England/Canada cruise.

The Noro hit again. I wonder where on the ship it comes from? Could it be the buffet area? When I sailed on the Queen Elizabeth last April, the Buffet area had Plastic covering over the food and had servers for halve way of the crossing.

Maybe in New york, there will be some sort of inspection and clean up ?
