Flip a coin. Summit can dock on either side. I asked the Captain which side, and he told me it all depends on ship maintenance. If he has to do maintenance on boats & davits on the port side, he will dock on the starboard side so he can lower those boats into the water.

 

If you luck out and get a side with view of the Dockyards or view of the harbor, both will be enjoyable.

Another consideration is possible cigarette smoke from smoking areas. If you are looking at a veranda cabin aft of midships, on most Celebrity ships a smoking area is on deck 5 or 6 on the port side. Depending on your tolerance and prevailing wind it might affect your enjoyment of your balcony.

My focus would be on the location of the room on the deck not what side it is on.

the mis ship elevators are on the port side- so a little less walking on that side.

Port. Our rooms have always been on Port side. I would be lost if I every had a Starboard side cabin. :D
