Just off the Dawn. Had just under 5000 points from last cruise so was given Lucky status. Drink card was included. A few days into the cruise the CAS host came over and upped me to Hot level with offer of free specialty dinner and wine. Was told other benefits would not kick in till next cruise. Also awarded me an extra 5000 points. told that points were good for 18 months but level for only 12 months ??? Could not figure that out

 

Got home and tried to book next cruise Was offered 20% discount only This was with over 12000 points ! Have never had less then oceanview comped and with less points. I will continue to call as I know from past experience it may change day to day and agent to agent. Hope this is not indicative of the new program and comps are going to be harder to get.

Thanks for the info. Out of curiosity what sailing did they offer you just 20% off on? I was told the discount can vary based on popularity of ship/sailing you're interested in ( which I'm sure you already know lol).

I have to agree that I hope this is not a sign as to the recent changes to the program.

That is true. I was offered 20% for a cruise out of NY and got a free cruise out of Boston......

 

I was offered 20% off of Breakaway as well.....I have no desire to go on Breakaway until it is "broken in"....

Just curious to see if you have called back to ask about the sailing again l...or about any others. I haven't seen much on the boards about CAS lately. I'm wondering how the new program is actually working out for everyone.

Called back a couple weeks ago and got comped for mini suite... quite a difference from 20% discount. Pays to keep trying. May also have been too soon for most recent play to show up on initial call

That's great!!! I've heard that if you're not happy with what the first person offers you then call back. Hope you have a great time.

I was told by one of the host to wait about a month after the cruise to get ;)the best reward.

We were on the Breakaway last month(first NCL cruise) and I earned 5500 points. Does Anyone have a number for CAS I could call to see if I qualify for a discount on another cruise. Also, would they take my tier level with total rewards into account(high diamond now, might hit seven stars before year end)?

The CAS reservation number is 1-877-752-9625. You can call 9-9 EST M-F and 10:30-7:30 EST Saturday and Sunday.

 

I do not believe CAS will take into account when offering cruise comps and discounts play history from land casinos.

I believe NCl and Harrahs casinos are connected. At least they used to be.

paul, Harrah's changed its' name to Caesars a few years ago. They are still connected.

I know that. But I still call it Harrahs. LOL. Been going there for 40 years now. I've received a few free cruises from them.
