Is the largest suite on the ship the Grand Suite? My husband swears he saw something about a penthouse suite on this ship, but there is nothing about it on the website or on the deck plans. Did he imagine it?

I believe the GS is the largest suite on Dream-class ships. I've seen the GS sometimes referred to as "Grand Penthouse Suite," but that's not really accurate.

Some ships do have one such special suite, but not all ships. I dont have a list which ships have them. They are around 925 s.f. .. i.e. huge and very expensive and you have to call to book them.

 

If they dont get booked, the upsell fairy starts calling to offer them as a upsell.

There are two types of cabins above Grand Suite in Carnival land. Owners suite on most of the Fantasy class ships and Captains suite which Fire is referring to. Captains suite are retro-fits done during dry dock. The first was the Liberty (whichw e have stayed in) and I beleive they have been added to Valor and Sunshine. Not sure on other Conquest class ships.
