Films or Movies on RCI

I am sailing on AoS this summer and have enjoyed relaxing and watching a film on previous cruises.

Can anyone tell me how recent the films are, what's currently showing and how often films are shown and where?

I think I have read there is a small cinema / movie theatre on a lower deck, but are films shown in the main theatre or other entertainment venues too?

The movies in the rooms on tv are pretty current, like on demand movies I always download a few onto my ipad, phone and kindle.

In the rooms on Splendour last week we had Jack Reacher, Lincoln, Argo, Skyfall, Mamma Mia (we were in Greece!), Playing for Keeps.

On a May 5 Freedom cruise we had The Hobbit in 3-D one afternoon at 1PM in the main theatre.

With the Adventure, it should be like the Explorer. We were just on it last month, and we had a movie in the screening room on Deck 2 forward every sea day, as well as movies in the stateroom for free.

Argo on Vision of the Seas (theater) in March.

Argo is great! It will keep you on the edge of your seat, even though you know how it ends. If you are having trouble falling asleep, flip to Lincoln...that will put you to sleep quickly...even though you know how it ends. Go figure!

39 nights at sea so far & haven't watched a single movie either in the theatre or on TV :D
