Boston to Port Transportation?

Hi all,

We are traveling with a group of 12 and are spending a few days in Boston pre-cruise. What would be the best way for us to get from the Marriott Longwharf to the cruise terminal?

Thanks

If cost is an issue, you can take public transportation. If you're in good shape, and the weather is good and you don't have too much luggage, it's a great walk (just under 2 miles) along the waterfront. Assuming you're going this year you'll walk right past the Courthouse where Whitey Bulger is being tried!

If speed in your concern, then taxis are your best option.

The walk will start out on level ground and work it's way downhill, so you have that going for you. We recently walked from the Westin Waterfront (which is next door to the convention center). It's a 15-minute downhill hike from there. You're at least 20-30 minutes further away.

For your large group you might be able to call a van service. There is no direct public transportation that I am aware of.

138East,

We spent some time this past Saturday around Long Wharf with some cruising friends that were visiting us. We hadn't been in a while and I couldn't believe how crowded and wild the area was. People everywhere, lines everywhere, wow, it bordered on chaos. LOL, but we had fun, lots of good people watching:D
