DreamingBig1 Posted June 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Has anybody who owns a small corporation, held their annual retreat on a cruise ship? My business partner and I are considering doing this, and think it may be a fun yet affordable way to discuss corporate affairs. So has anybody done this? I would imagine there are tax benefits, but with restrictions and limitations.

Keith However it needs to be very well planned and documented. Not sure its worth it for a vacation. Not sure if meetings need to happen in for example St. Thomas U.S. Virgin. I need to research this some more. It is probably not realistic. :)

Dcoy Posted June 21, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Check into tax issues for both the company and employees. You won't have happy employees if it effects their income tax at the end of the year. Don
