Staying in Boston overnight once cruise is over question...

Does anyone know if you can leave your luggage onboard the ship if you have excursion planned once cruise is over? Our hotel check in is not until the afternoon and since we arrive in around 8am I am wondering if my luggage could stay stowed somewhere on ship until excursion is over. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nope. Your luggage will beat you off the ship. You won't be allowed through Customs without it.

Your hotel should be able to hold your luggage for you.

There is also luggage storage at South Station (take the T Silver line from the pier for a couple of stops, or a taxi).

If your excursion is with the cruiseline, don't they take care of your luggage for you?

Give us more details. What hotel are you saying at and from where and when does your excursion leave? Is it a cruise excursion?

 

The other posters have given you great information, but you need to put it all together in a plan.

Thanks for all the info. I am actually asking for someone who does not use these websites. I have told her in my best opinion she should just have her hotel hold on to their luggage until they get back from excursion. And yes, she booked it through Carnival. Thanks everyone!
