Hi Bonnie, We were on the 6/16 sailing out of BCN. We had a great time. Your picture is very nice-- who knows if we were on the same cruise we could have met for a coffee or a cocktail!

 

I got ON the ship (Liberty of the Seas) the same day you got off! Wasn't it a magnificent cruise though!? I also enjoyed Barcelona very much! We stayed 3 days pre-cruise and loved every minute of it! Next year we are doing pre-cruise in Venice, then sailing "Splendour of the Seas" to Croatia, Turkey, and Greece! :D

Wonderful news, Marie. Do you have a firm booking or are you wait listed? That cruise sold out in days. I understand that if there are sufficient cancellations, Oceania will be selling the cruise in segments starting in September.

 

If we win the lottery before then we will be joining you. :)

That sounds really exciting. The deals they were offering were hard to pass up. Do you think you will pack any differently since Oceania is not as formal as Cunard?

I will be taking lots and lots day dresses, skirts and nice tops. I am not sure if they have theme nights, if they do; I will be taking my last cruises outfits.

Why don't you try taking a short cruise on the same ship? It would give you a good idear if you would like it or not.
