Pier in Monte Carlo

Looks like we are docked at Nouvelle Digue. We are staying at the Monte Carlo Marriott the night before, which I understand is actually in France on the border. I assume best way to the pier is taxi? Any idea how far?

 

(We have been to MC before so know how tiny it is...but never embarked on a cruise ship there.)

It's the standard pier and as you know in Monaco everything is uphill apart from a swim. Whatever else is true it is always going to be a taxi.

Depending on how much luggage you have, you could walk it, but I advise taking a cab. It's not that far, but would be a drag (pardon the pun) even with luggage on wheels.

I would just take the taxi for the sake of the luggage.

We thought about staying at Port Palace Hotel, but couldn't beat the price of the Marriott...i.e., points!

Location is very good, just not downtown Monte Carlo.
