Booked a w suite gty on oasis

Has anyone booked this category and received something larger then a junior suite? We haven't received our cabin assignment, so the excitement is killing us.

We were assigned a JS but it was on the hump part of the ship on a higher floor.

it had a double size balcony. I was thrilled !

We were assigned a JS. But a couple of weeks later, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a GS. However, we were Diamond + with about 368 points at the time.

This will be our first cruise as diamond, so we are excited about this in itself, but wanted to hear if typically you were assigned a Junior Suite. Hey, I won't complain, it will be a first time for one of those for us!

Typically, a W booking gets you a junior suite. But sometimes one is lucky. Last year, we got a crown loft. We waited until about 10 days before sailing to get the assignment; totally worth the wait.

the answer is a mystery. I have studied it for years and still can not figure it out.

I have had a W and gotten outrageous upgrades, so hang in there I'm waiting with you. And it's shear torture.

I would say so. I have been watching that sailing (Oasis 8/31) that is offering that great W rate. This morning there were only 2 JS available and now there are 4. Someone must have gotten bumped up :rolleyes:
